Volunteer Firefighter
Volunteer firefighter plates were one of the few types with an embossed graphic on the plate, in this case the maltese cross. A blue flashing light permit was required to obtain these plates. Currently, Firefighter plates are issued on a light blue base, with the graphic in red to the right of the serial number.

This type was issued for passenger, combination and commercial.

"Firefighter" plates also exist similar to these, with only "F" within the logo instead of the "VF" seen below.
