Imagine- you finally finish painstakingly restoring your classic to its pristine, original condition- and then have to display these nonsensical plates on it. The previous design and numbering format were much better suited to their purpose. Actually, the prior format even had some historic precedent – it was used on passenger car plates in the 1940s and 1950s!
